🌌 Save cost in space transportation! Use a deterministic data network! Many of the most recent launch and space transportation vehicles use Ethernet as their avionics network. Therefore, upgrading to TTEthernet-based avionics is fairly simple and allows mixed-criticality data on a single network: ▶️ Switches guard the network ▶️ Payload, control, and telemetry data are separated safely and securely ▶️ New features or subsystems (like e.g., additional cameras) can enhance your product without compromising system integrity and without expensive software changes You can also benefit from autonomous, fault-tolerant clock synchronization and seamless connectivity to Ethernet-based ground networks. Last but not least: components and equipment are radiation-hardened for longer and more complex missions, and now flight-proven. TTEthernet is a scalable, standards-based networking technology pioneered by TTTech that has already performed flawlessly in space, like on #NASAOrion and, most recently, on #Ariane6. It was chosen for these missions because it reduces complexity and cost. Read on to find out: 🧰 What role our TTEthernet-based solutions – including automotive-style COTS components – play in Ariane 6's avionics 🌐 How TTEthernet supports a reliable, safe, and secure data network for safety-critical applications #tttech #launcher #avionics #ttethernet #goariane

🚀🔭 Last week, we celebrated the successful launch of #Ariane6 together with Beyond Gravity at an event organized by the TU Wien Space Team. 🥳 The event served as an opportunity to connect with the organizations and institutions that have backed TTTech and the Austrian space industry, playing a crucial role in our success on the international space market. It's a long way from an idea to development, and finally a commercially viable product. This is especially true for the space industry. The ESA Future Launchers Preparatory Programme (FLPP) was a milestone that led us to the Ariane 6 program and to the development of products that paved the way for many future space endeavors, among others NASA's Lunar Gateway. This wouldn't have been possible without Austria's European Space Agency - ESA contributions and the commitment and support of the FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH and the Bundesministerium für Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Energie, Mobilität, Innovation & Technologie. ✨ Here's to collaboration in space and on Earth and to reaching new frontiers! 🥂 #tttech #space #GoAriane #FFG #BMK #BeyondGravity #TUWienSpaceTeam #SpaceTeamEurope Austria in Space | AUSTROSPACE

🚀 Last night, #Ariane6 launched to a stellar inaugural flight! 🌟 Here's to #SpaceTeamEurope, to ArianeGroup, ARIANESPACE, CNES, Airbus Defence and Space, and the European Space Agency - ESA - congratulations! Ariane 6 was also a huge milestone for TTTech Aerospace - about 50 team members were involved in this project over the years. Ariane 6 was a breakthrough space program for us that allowed us to develop technology and solutions not just for one launcher, but for the future, for other ESA and NASA programs, including the Lunar Gateway. 🎉 Check out our team celebration below! ⬇️ #tttech #space #GoAriane Austria in Space | AUSTROSPACE Photo credits: Sebastian Dichler

TTTech did something fantastic. 💥 They took all their technical abilities and very high level engineering skills, and set them aside. They decided to create a conference not about technology, but about the problems that technology can solve, and let the humans do the talking. I had the pleasure to interview for one hour three absurdly brilliant experts, Dr. Barbara Imhof ( 👩💼 Space Architect), Carmen Possnig ( 👩⚕️ space doctor) and Norah Patten ( 👩🚀 Citizen Astronaut) and pick their brain on the meaning of safety in space, how our body changes when under zero-gravity, and how to build a base on the Moon. 👉 The video is such a declaration of passion to Space and all the potential it has to change our life, for good. Watch it and enjoy it! I thank TTTech for the great opportunity! Till next time! SpaceWatch.Global
SAVE THE DATE for our #IMPACT25 Panel: Safety in human space flight – the astronaut’s perspective 👨🚀👩🚀 We are entering a new ara of human space flight. As humanity prepares to return to the Moon and even set foot on Mars, also many commercial endeavors in space are on the rise. One central concept that makes all of this possible is safety. But what is safety in a space context? What does it take to feel safe in space? And what are the challenges that have to be overcome to allow astronauts to travel to and work in space safely? In our #IMPACT25 panel, Emma Gatti, Editor in Chief of SpaceWatch Global, welcomes Norah Patten (aeronautical engineer and bioastronautics researcher) Carmen Possnig (MD and ESA reserve astronaut), and Dr. Barbara Imhof (space architect, professor & CEO LIQUIFER) to explore the human perspective on safety in space, from medicine to psychology, training, and spacecraft (or habitat) design. In this lively and insightful discussion, you will learn: - What microgravity in space does to the human body - How astronauts wash and sleep while floating in a space station - How and where astronauts train for space missions - What the restrictions are when building a space station 🚀 When: Video available from Wednesday, June 26, 2024, 10:00 CET 🌍 Where: www.tttech.com/IMPACT25
