Recently, the Philippines celebrated becoming a full signatory to the Washington Accord. Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Philippines Ambassador, H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, to our Canberra offices. This visit affirms our commitment to international collaboration and shared standards in the engineering profession through knowledge and skill sharing. We're excited to see the benefits of mutual recognition and mobility for both Filipino and Australian engineers. Thanks for visiting! It's also a key area of focus for The Ocean Cleanup, which develops and scales technologies to extract plastic from marine environments. By deploying plastic-gathering fleets into ocean gyres, The Ocean Cleanup intends to remove 90 per cent of floating ocean plastic by 2040.
