Music Teachers In International Schools is built on an openness to explore new ideas, critique #internationalschools and #musiceducation, and just generally go deep on some 'big' questions. This question: 'what do you think makes a "good" international school music teacher?' has provided the foundation for amazing conversations, deconstructions of commonly held (but maybe not so helpful) beliefs, and new insights on this fascinating and unique educational space over the last couple of years. Desta Olds took the question head on and landed some solid ideas about understanding one's social/cultural context and being open to learner-led ideas. This latest MTIIS podcast episode has been getting lots of love from the community, so if you haven't listened to it yet, get on it via your preferred platform: https://lnkd.in/g9mXzBTA
