Your Role
Atlas Copco is dedicated to creating innovative solutions for various industries, collaborates closely with customers to transform industrial concepts into intelligent, connected air and gas solutions. Our cutting-edge compressed air technology, combined with the expertise and commitment of our passionate team, delivers sustainable value to industries worldwide. Our Engineering team is looking for a skilled project engineer to join us in Blacktown. In this role you will provide essential support to our sales team and subsequently take charge of project management to ensure successful delivery for our customers. Your contributions will be critical in handling quotes, tenders, and supplier selection for our project endeavours.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Developing technical specifications for our sales team
Identifying cost effective suppliers and solutions for our customers
Management of customer relationships ongoing throughout the project phases
Providing on time and on cost project delivery to our customers
To succeed, you will need
Tertiary engineering degree, or equivalent experience with Electromechanical projects preferably in compressed air, or a related field, and a working knowledge of industrial control systems.
Good experience in evaluating technical and commercial specifications, preparation of tenders and quotations, and demonstrated success in project / contract management.
High level of analytical, organisational and communication skills
You should possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work.
Intermediate PC skills with advanced AutoCAD, MS Project, and technical software programs. SAP knowledge and skills advantageous.
You should be comfortable with reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, which shall include analysing the terms and conditions, working with departure tables, and leading negotiations until final execution.
