About us
Agristo is a producer of frozen potato products. The private label market being our main focus, we currently deliver 116 countries with over 300customers all around the world. Our customer base consists out of retailers, foodservice distributors, fast food chains and the processing industry. Agristo is a family owned business with a clear scope on the future and all its opportunities. We have three production sites of which two in Belgium and one in the Netherlands. In total, we currently produce about 400.000tons of finished products each year. With our workforce of more than 450 people we are able to excel in terms of flexibility, efficiency, competitiveness and excellent customer service which is acknowledged all over the World. As such we were able to grow double digit figures every year since the start of the century.

𝗜𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿! Heb je op de autosnelweg ook vaak het gevoel dat sommige ondernemingen hun merknaam beter weglaten op bestelbusjes of vrachtwagens? Bij het merendeel van de witte, ongemarkeerde bestelbusjes weet je zelfs op voorhand – aan het stuur bevindt zich een chauffeur met een Ph.D in schofterig rijgedrag. Maar het kan ook anders. Dat toonde ene Remco Pollet mij onlangs. Op één van die vele, nauwe landweggetjes in West-Vlaanderen parkeerde hij mooi zijn zware truck zodat ik op de mountainbike veilig kon passeren. Het verbaasde me dermate dat ik terugreed en om wat uitleg vroeg. “Ja hoor. Ik woon hier. Maar anders zou ik ook opzij zijn gegaan.” Dank je wel, Remco! Kijk, het toont nogmaals aan – marketing is geen afdeling, het is een bekwaamheid. En iedereen kan een bijdrage leveren in de positieve beleving van je merk. Zijn kleine actie gaf de merknaam Agristo direct een imposante glans. Eén suggestie – als je dergelijke chauffeurs hebt, dan zou ik de naam van het transportbedrijf (Decancq) in grotere druk op de cabine plaatsen. Wees trots op de medewerkers. Zij zullen jou trots maken. Conclusie: klantgerichtheid en customer experience is vaak geen zaak van dure transformatie of veel data. A four-hit night for Agristo at the British Frozen Food Awards. The British Frozen Food Federation handed out awards to the best newcomers of 2024 in retail and foodservice. Guess what? Agristo bagged 4 podium spots, two of which we received the gold. Congratulations to our partners, and to our Research and Product Development teams! In the retail space, we were awarded gold and silver for Best New Potato product with our Perfect Double Butter Mash and Luxury Southern Fried French Fries. We also claimed the Bronze Best New Side with our delicious Luxury Honey Roast Parsnips. In food service our partnership with Koffmann led to winning Gold Best New Side, presenting the SIDEWINDERS ® fries.
