#BESIXupdate • The TM COTU teams in Zeebruges are going strong! 💪 Construction at the Zeebruges dry dock is progressing 🇧🇪. To date, 6 out of 8 tunnel elements for the upcoming Scheldt Tunnel are complete, while the remaining two segments are actively under construction! 🤩 In addition, preparations for the spring transport of these segments to Antwerp are also underway. Once everything is ready, the dry dock will be flooded, and the tunnel elements will be floated and towed to Antwerp. 🎉 The big day has come: the Saint-Denis - Pleyel station in Paris 🇫🇷 is officially open and in service! 🎉 Yesterday, French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated this significant project in Paris 🇫🇷, along with the extension of metro line 14! Covering 34,000 m², the station is the largest of the Grand Paris Express and is set to serve 250,000 passengers daily. 🚇✨ This accomplishment represents a significant milestone for our BESIX France team, who handed over the station earlier this month to Société des grands projets after completing in time all architectural, facades and technical works. This marks an important step in delivering this landmark for Brisbane City Council. 🌁 Spanning 460 metres across the Brisbane River, the bridge will serve as a vital link between the Kangaroo Point district and the city’s Central Business District for pedestrians and cyclists. Paving the way for a connected Europe in Riga 🇱🇻! 🚆🤩 We're excited to share a glimpse of our recent progress on the Rail Baltica Central Hub project in Riga 🇱🇻. 📸 Works include a new central station building, a railway bridge across the River Daugava and track works over a 2.5-kilometre-distance! 💪 As part of the BERERIX joint venture, we are responsible for the design and construction of this significant project. #BESIXmilestone • We're halfway there at the Te Kaha Multi-Use Arena in New Zealand! ✨ Our colleagues of BESIX Watpac have reached the halfway mark for construction of Te Kaha, Canterbury's Multi-Use Arena for Christchurch City Council. Together with their partners and subcontractors, they have accumulated an impressive 700,000 workhours to date. 🏗️👏 Boasting a capacity of 30,000 seats, Te Kaha will be New Zealand's premier venue for all types of events, from small business meetings to large international concerts. #BESIXupdate • Soaring above the Italian valleys under clear blue skies 🇮🇹 ☀️ In central Italy, BESIX and Donati S.p.A. are doubling the State Road 318 over a distance of 3.1 km between Perugia and Ancona. The project includes the construction of two tunnels, alongside a bridge and a viaduct. 🙌 Recently, significant progress has been achieved on the 130-metre Tre Vescovi viaduct, as it is meticulously launched across the valley using a specialised spindle bar system.
