An Incredible Day 1 at the 2024 EXCITE Winter Summit! 🎉 What an incredible first day at the EXCITE Winter Summit! We were treated to a session by BC Privacy Commissioner Michael McEvoy, who spoke about the lessons learned and accomplishments during his tenure. Interac Corp. gave an incredible presentation on their verified products while separately, we were introduced to the potential of using trust registries to advance digital identity and prevent fraud. Mastercard moderated a panel on navigating cybersecurity challenges, while they then delved into building trust using biometrics for identity verification.
