In another stride towards expanding our capabilities toward electrical energy efficiency and sustainability, JFE Shoji has just commissioned its fifth production line for amorphous metal cores. This expansion not only boosts the production capacity of this special transformer material, but also reinforces our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and a cleaner energy future.

At JFE we believe that collaboration by leaders in industry, academics and government are necessary to accelerate the growth of clean, sustainable electrical energy. Aged electrical grids, skilled labor shortages, and increased demand for distribution equipment and EV components are pressing issues. Strategic leadership from both government and industry stakeholders is crucial to overcome these hurdles. 💡 JFE Shoji Power Canada Inc.'s President & CEO, Ron Harper, P.Eng., C.Dir. 🇨🇦, emphasizes the need to build capacity in the electricity supply chain to meet rising demands. Aging infrastructure, such as electrical transformers, requires attention and investment to bolster the grid for future needs. 🌱 Harper stresses the importance of supporting the entire supply chain, not just EV plants and renewable energy investments.
