Last week, our Sales, Marketing and Partnerships teams met in Toronto for Opsguru’s 2024 Q-School—three immersive days where our values, our story, and our structure were at the forefront of each presentation. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) community is made up of millions of builders worldwide. Within this audience, there are technical enthusiasts whose passion for knowledge-sharing has a real impact within the community—the #AWSHeroes. AWS Heroes are nominated by Amazon employees who can attest to the community contributions led by the nominee. The nominations are reviewed quarterly, and a review committee goes through a month-long review process across four parameters. We’re thrilled to share that OpsGuru’s own Solutions Architect, Denis Astahov, is in attendance at the AWS Heroes Summit for his significant contribution and impact with #AWS. This year’s Summit was kicked off with a keynote from AWS CEO, Matt Garman. Denis has been an AWS Hero since his nomination in 2021.
