In need of mobile structural assistance? Bombardier has the solution Since 2020, Bombardier’s Structural Mobile Repair Team (SMRT) has been performing world-class structural repairs for customers around the world – wherever they happen to be.  Did your Challenger wingtip connect with a fuel truck in Europe? Perhaps your Global aircraft executed a hard landing in North America. Either way, just one call to Bombardier’s Customer Response Centre (CRC) will deliver the help you need from the Bombardier SMRT anywhere in the world.  The SMRT is powered by a collaboration between Bombardier and the structural maintenance experts at The Mobile Repair Team. For customers, it’s a seamless process.   When a call is received, structural technicians arrive onsite to assess the damage and file a report with Bombardier. Once the work plan has been approved, parts and supplies are ordered. By the time the parts arrive at the aircraft, the SMRT team will be onsite and ready to begin the work.  Ray Godon, Director, Bombardier Mobile Response Team – Europe, notes the SMRT is one more tool in the company’s customer service toolbox.   “We have mobile support for mechanical and avionics repairs, in addition to structural, so we can support the whole aircraft,” he said. “It’s one more way we deliver the best range of aircraft-on-ground resolution services in the industry.”  For more information on the Bombardier SMRT, call the Bombardier Customer Response Centre, (514) 855-2999.
