Some clinicians are speaking out and saying the idea that trauma can be fixed with a single intervention oversimplifies the healing process. Instead, the idea of a toolbox with many tools to help cope should be used instead. The idea that there is a single tool that fixes all might be unrealistic and instead, the focus should be on establishing many tools to help when in need. But how do we do this? Many of us personally struggle with anxiety or depression or know someone who does. It can be debilitating and many people unfortunately struggle to reach out for help. Thus, it is important to keep in mind what are the warning signs to look out for. But how?
