The International Olympic Committee is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement. A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including the athletes, the National Olympic Committees (NOCs), the International Federations (IFs), Organising Committees for the Olympic Games (OCOGs), the Worldwide Olympic Partners (TOP Partners) and Media Rights-Holders. It also collaborates with public and private authorities, including the United Nations and other international organisations. The IOC’s vision is to build a better world through sport. Its missions are to ensure the uniqueness and regular celebration of the Olympic Games, to put athletes at the heart of the Olympic Movement and to promote the Olympic values in society.

The 2023 Olympic Solidarity and NOC Services Annual Report highlights the support provided to athletes and their NOCs on the road to #Paris2024. Here are a few key figures: 🔹 USD 20.4M in Olympic Scholarships awarded to Athletes. 🔹 1,260 individual scholarships from 154 NOCs. 🔹 Over 6,300 coaches supported in 2023. 🔹 223 teams from 141 NOCs benefitted from the Team Support Grant programme. From the City of Angels to the City of Light: your new must-see location in Paris! 🎉 The International Olympic Committee and the City of Paris officially inaugurated the Olympic Sculpture on 23 June, Olympic Day. Los Angeles-based artist Alison Saar unveiled her beautiful work, "Salon" (2024), now permanently installed in the public garden of the Champs-Elysées, honouring the legacy of Paris 2024. "'Salon’ is an invitation for dialogue; for exchange; for coming together; for sharing.
