Yet, builders are confronted with a complex set of hurdles, not least the need to construct more homes faster and with minimal waste whilst facing a dwindling pool of available labour. To continue our investment and commitment to accelerate automation in the construction industry, today we are announcing an exciting new collaboration between ABB and UK tech start up Automated Architecture (AUAR). AUAR’s approach integrates robotic #automation into the building process through a network of localized micro factories where customized energy efficient timber homes can be built quickly and sustainably in a matter of weeks.
