This acquisition enhances Komatsu’s underground mining product lineup with GHH’s loaders and dump trucks and expands its global reach and service capabilities in key markets in Europe, Southern Africa, India and Chile. With GHH’s talented staff now part of Komatsu, the company aims to offer greater value and support to customers worldwide. On Monday 10th of June GHH had the pleasure to welcome the German-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce along with a high level business delegation from Peruvian Mining Companies, Mining Contractors and Regulatory Authorities. We were able to showcase our product portfolio and our GHH inSiTE data analytics platform with a live demonstration of the LF-14, 14 ton loader. Participants of the delegation had a full look and feel experience in the workshop and the GHH testing ground in Gelsenkirchen to better understand the robustness and reliability of GHH equipment. Another BAT explosives loading vehicle recently headed out to its new home at a Salt mine in Germany. The SLF 2000 ANFO explosives loading vehicle is used both in soft and hard rock applications. This machine has a new ergonomic cabin design with air conditioning, acoustic insulation, safety glass and central control panel. It also boasts a 2,000 litre explosives tank for a working pressure of 2.9 bar. It is an all-wheel drive vehicle and has an outer turning radius of 6.1m and inner of 2.06m. With a stage V, 150kW Deutz engine, a max. working width 15.3m; max. standing height 8.5m and a 150kg basket payload this vehicle it fit for working in a number of different operations. It is a diesel-electric vehicle with 200m power cable (500V) on cable drum. It also has automatic fire extinguishing system. The SLF2000 is well established in the market with a significant number of these vehicles in the field and with different volumes of explosive tanks available this customized vehicle can fit your operation and is an excellent choice for use in your underground mines to support your primary operations! Compact, powerful and extremely robust: The GHH MK-A20 is an articulated dump truck for underground mining.   With a length of 9417 mm, a width of 2200 mm and a height of 2555 mm fully loaded, the dumper is suited well for narrow vein underground mines. In addition to the standard tipping volume of 10 cubic metres, tipping volumes of between 6 and 12.5 cubic meters are also available. With an empty weight of 19 tonnes and a load capacity of 20 tonnes, a total loaded weight of 39 tonnes is achieved.   The MK-A20 is equipped with a Cummins QSB6.7 engine with a power rating of 209 kW at 2300 rpm. The drive train is completed by a powershift transmission with 4 forward and 4 reverse gears. With its smart system design, the manufacturer aims to achieve the lowest possible operating costs. Therefore, only tried-and-tested technologies have been utilized to ensure trouble-free operation and as low as possible maintenance costs.   The ROPS / FOPS-certified cab offers excellent visibility in both directions of travel. Another MK-A20, Stage V, articulated dump truck heads off to its new home in Turkey.   The MK-A20 is one of the most famous legacy products from GHH with hundreds of them running in the field. Dr. Jan Petzold, CEO of GHH Group, will leave GHH Group to be an entrepreneur in the logistics industry. As a visionary and true miner Jan has led the GHH team through a complete product and company rebranding process and has been driving significant new product developments. He has successfully forged new partnerships making GHH a full-range underground mining equipment supplier.
