Helsing tests real-time AI capabilities in space. Helsing today announced that it has successfully deployed advanced AI capabilities on YAM-6, a satellite node part of Loft Orbital space infrastructure. The extended tests focus on real-time onboard radio frequency signal detection and their characterisation enabling upcoming military grade Signal Intelligence and Cognitive Anti-Jamming applications. We are delighted to welcome Burak Ata to Helsing. Burak joins us from Volocopter, where he was Head of Development Quality Assurance and instrumental in achieving the certification for Volocopter's eVTOL. Burak previously held roles at Lilium, BNA -a BAE joint venture - and local airworthiness authorities. He is also currently chairing EUROCAE Working Group 117 “Aviation Software Standards” that develops the required standards to support Aviation Software, inclusively addressing all aviation stakeholders. As Helsing's Head of Certification and Assurance, Burak will lead the company's certification and compliance efforts. "I am thrilled to be joining Helsing at such an exciting time", said Burak Ata. "The pace of innovation in defence is accelerating relentlessly, and I look forward to using my experience in the air domain to help Helsing achieve its mission to protect our democracies."

Helsing commits €50m to Ukrainian Defence Manufacturers Alliance Helsing today announced that it will commit €50m to the Ukrainian Defence Manufacturers Alliance over the coming 24 months. The funds will be deployed through investments, product/technology funding and purchasing from local companies. The Defence Manufacturers Alliance is a joint initiative between the Ukrainian government and Helsing. It is designed to make Helsing’s advanced AI capabilities available to military platforms in Ukraine. Together with our partners we will ensure Ukraine wins the technology battle that will lead to victory. #URC24 #Berlin

Helsing and Airbus sign Wingman AI partnership Today, at ILA, Helsing signed a landmark agreement with Airbus Defence and Space to develop AI capabilities for the upcoming Wingman combat drone. Building on our close partnership on Eurofighter, this new agreement will combine Helsing's autonomous air combat expertise (incl. the recently revealed Project Centaur) with Airbus' advanced uncrewed platform experience. Helsing announces Project Centaur   Today, we are unveiling Project Centaur, our large-scale AI initiative to develop autonomous air combat capabilities for existing platforms and future air combat systems, such as Loyal Wingman.   Project Centaur combines reinforcement learning and foundation models for a leap in autonomous air capabilities.
