KIC Krones

From a degree in chemical engineering to regional manager - with Brian Bernklau I studied sensor technology and analytics at the OTH in Regensburg - but how do you become a regional manager at KIC Krones with this degree? 👨🎓 In 2013, I joined KIC Krones as a student trainee in the adhesives laboratory during my studies. A year later, I was given the opportunity to start my career as Product Manager for Lubricants at KIC Krones. I've now been working at KIC Krones for 10 years, and two years ago I was given the opportunity to develop my career as Regional Manager for North and Central America. My family background, which is in the USA, is particularly useful for these regions. 🌎 I can apply a lot of the content of my studies directly in my day-to-day work, and this provides me with important background knowledge for my work with KIC Krones products. What I particularly appreciate about my work is "the good combination of everything". 😊 On the one hand, you have the advantages of a small company, the short distances, the flexibility and the personal contact with colleagues. On the other hand, the proximity to the Krones Group gives me the opportunity to network worldwide and to work closely with the Krones teams in areas ranging from development to sales.  I also think the work-life balance at KIC Krones is very good, and the flexitime working time model offers me a good opportunity to work from home. 👨💻 My goal for the next few years is to further expand my region and successfully move it forward. I think the potential is great and the local team is also really good. We have already achieved a lot in the last few years and can achieve even more. 😊
