About PowerCo
Our journey started in July 2022, when PowerCo was founded in Salzgitter. Now we are on our way to become a global battery player. With a lot of dedication, we are carrying out all battery activities for the Volkswagen Group. Our biggest strength is the vertical integration from purchasing raw materials, developing a unified Volkswagen battery cell, to recycling. We will employ up to 20,000 #PowerColleagues internationally and set up our cell factories at various locations worldwide.
