Environment, Health and Safety Manager

BioTalent is pleased to be working with an exciting global healthcare partner who is looking for a Environment, Health and Safety & Security Manager to join their pharmaceutical production site in Germany.

The ideal candidate will be able to perform tasks in occupational health and safety whilst looking after the performance of the statutory duties of the Commissioner for Immission Control. This position offers you a competitive salary, 30 days of vacation and financial training opportunities.

In this role, you will:

• Support of the management system in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001
• EHS reporting and implementation of EHS group requirements
• Planning of industrial hygiene measurements with a focus on the handling of potent substances
• Communication with authorities
• Performance of the statutory duties of the Commissioner for Immission Control (§ 54 BImSchG), Water Protection (§ 65 WHG) and Waste (§ 60 KrWG)
• Carrying out sampling
• Support in risk assessments and root cause analyses

You will have:

• Completed studies, preferably in the fields of environmental technology, process engineering, supply/disposal technology, safety technology or chemical engineering
• Reliable knowledge of explosion protection
• Safer knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001
• Fluent in written and spoken English & German
• Completed recognised courses for immission control officers, water protection officers and waste officers is desirable
