For our Site in Dortmund we are now looking for an HSE Manager (M/F/T)

Your tasks:

• Planning, implementation, monitoring and optimization of all operational HSE processes at the Dortmund site (250 employees)
• Advice, support and coaching for site Leadership, Supervisors and employees in the areas of environmental, health and safety
• Analysis of accidents, assessment of potential risks and development of concepts/preventive measures to avoid future incidents
• Implementation of cooperate initiatives and further development of the site's own HSE strategy
• Creating, updating, reviewing and further developing risk assessments thought entire site
• Planning, execution and evaluation of internal and external audits
• Carrying out general tasks of the „Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit” (“German Safety Officer”) in accordance with
• 6 ASiG and taking on other assignments in the area of HSE (fire protection, hazardous substances, lifting equipment, waste disposal, etc.).
• Development and implementation of a site strategy to promote employee health
• Coordination of external contractors and authorities in terms of HSE topics

Your profile:

• Completed technical education plus additional specialized training or university degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, etc.)
• At least 2 years of professional experience as „Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit”, ideally in a corporate group
• Knowledge of the legal requirements in the field of safety and environmental protection
• Additional qualifications related to HSE desirable
• Fluent in German and English
• Very good communication skills, strong ability to work in a team, high level of self-organization
• Hands-on mentality and flexibility in the implementation of projects & initiatives
