Publication alert 📣📣 Exploring diet and gut microbiome connections in viverids, we show that associations tend to be driven by specific links between diet items and gut bacterial genera, rather than communities as a whole, suggesting that specific diet items drive selection for specific gut microbes in wild animal hosts! This work was led by Emilia Rolander Arfaoui and Malou B. Storm and it is my first last-authored paper!!!
