Finding the perfect word can be tough, but sometimes one word says it all.   Therefore, we asked our colleagues to describe Kamstrup in just one word. After all, who better to capture the spirit of our workplace than the people who experience it every day?   We think they nailed it, but what word would you choose?

While many are enjoying their vacations, our dedicated cycling team is gearing up for our annual cycling trip. This year 27 colleagues from our Nordic offices are ready to conquer 500+ km in the legendary Pyrenees. To tackle these mountains, our team has been preparing by cycling over 1,500 km, and what better way to do so than together. So, for the past few weeks, they’ve been meeting up after work, pushing their limits, and bonding on the roads. We can’t wait to cheer them on as they set off on August 28th!

  We are proud of our colleagues that bring our workplace culture to life. Whether they're organizing social events, leading fitness classes to keep us energized, or creating initiatives that strengthen our community spirit, their efforts make a big difference by creating connections and memories for us all. A big thank you to Louisa, who balances her role as a Bookkeeper to make sure the numbers add up on our employee associations many events; Sebastian, our dedicated Business Development Manager and chairman of Kamstrup Youth; and Gitte, our Executive Team Coordinator and one of the forces behind our Friday bar.

We are proud to announce our official submission of near-term and net-zero targets to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). By submitting these targets of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction standards in line with climate science methodology and the Paris Agreement's Accord, we take yet another step forward on our carbon reduction journey towards net zero. Setting targets founded on acknowledged climate science follows the engineering data-driven spirit of Kamstrup. Its time to act and we put a huge effort in contributing to the urgent need to address climate change and reduce GHG emission impact through research, and development of our solutions and daily processes. Kamstrup is pleased to announce that last week a formal partnership agreement was signed with SAV Systems, our long-term collaboration partner in the UK. SAV aims to mitigate the carbon footprint of buildings by increasing indoor energy efficiency. Their technology relies on Kamstrup’s smart heat meters and READy MDM system to achieve these goals.  The two companies mutually expect their partnership to provide meaningful energy optimization portfolio for property management throughout the UK and help their goals in gas conversion 

In Vacarisses, near Barcelona, leaks in the water network were equivalent to 40% of the total consumption. In an area where droughts are a serious issue resulting in supply cuts, it is crucial that the scarce resource of water is used properly. The municipality in Vacarisses was struggling with droughts and water loss in their network, and the old, mechanical meters did not provide the needed insight to tackle their issues. They invested in a Kamstrup water solution to help gain insight into their water network and tackle water loss.
