Today the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2024 kicks off under the theme of "Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions”. The #HLPF will this year review progress on #SDG 1, 2, 13, 16, and 17. It will follow up on the outcomes of the 2023 #SDGSummit and contribute to the preparations for the Summit of the Future, to be held in September 2024. #ClimateAction and #weather, #climate, and #water-related sciences have the potential to supercharge progress on the #SDGs.
