Ricardo Bofill – Taller de Arquitectura's contribution is essential to the development of a new "integrated urbanism." El Taller aspires to create public spaces, in which truly social life can exist. It recognizes the need to give social settlements a clear, imaginable definition. The practice has had the opportunity to demonstrate its competence through the completion of large- scale transportation infrastructure, public facilities, office buildings, such as the headquarters of leading companies, five-star hotels, housing, and retail projects.
