From sharing our story with candidates to leveraging data-driven strategies, Ana gives her unique insights into talent acquisition at Job&Talent. 📚Ana, could you tell us about your journey into talent acquisition and what brought you to Job&Talent? Before joining Job&Talent, I spent most of my career in strategy and operations. While I hadn't originally envisioned a career in talent acquisition, people strategy was a significant part of my previous roles. Whether it was helping a CEO build an A-team or integrating acquired companies, the people aspect always drew me in. When I joined Job&Talent during a hyper-growth phase, I saw the strategic and operational challenge of scaling from 1 to 100 as a perfect fit for my skills and interests in finding and engaging top talent. 🔍 In your role, how do you ensure that Job&Talent attracts and retains the best talent? There are two critical elements: communication and alignment. First, we must effectively share the Job&Talent story and our aspirations with candidates. Second, authenticity is crucial. Our team and those involved in the selection process must be genuine about who we are and what we stand for. The best candidates, who will thrive and help us grow, are drawn to our authenticity and are excited about both the challenges and opportunities at Job&Talent. 📊How do you balance quality and speed in the hiring process, especially in a competitive landscape? It's about prioritizing the right things at the right time. We strive to speed up tasks that are essential but don't add value to the filtering process, such as sourcing, scheduling, and internal processes. However, we take our time with the substantive parts of the process—targeting the right profile, conducting thorough interviews, and ensuring candidates meet all key players. Making the wrong hiring decision is costly, so we don't rush if we're not 100% sure. 🌀How has the nature of talent acquisition evolved over the years, and where do you see it heading? In the last decade, data has been the game-changer in talent acquisition, allowing leaders to make better, data-driven decisions. At Job&Talent, we've implemented a robust ATS system and standardized processes, creating a reporting infrastructure that drives our daily actions. Now, we're looking at AI to remove much of the administrative workload and enhance the insights we can draw from our data. I believe talent acquisition will undergo significant changes in the next few years, driven by AI advancements.
