Your Mission

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing Viterbit’s sales strategy, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and driving our revenue growth. Reporting directly to the founders, you will work closely with other stakeholders to align sales initiatives with company objectives, identify new market opportunities, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership within the SaaS industry.

You will need to demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges and navigating the dynamic environment of a growing startup. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will embody the values and vision of Viterbit, ensuring that our reputation and brand integrity are maintained at all times. Moreover, you will behave like a founder, taking ownership of your initiatives, driving innovation, and making strategic decisions that contribute to the overall success and growth of the company

The Journey

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals and market expansion.
  • Team Building: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and target new market opportunities, including potential verticals and customer segments.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales collateral, campaigns, and lead-generation strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse sales metrics to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure targets are met.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the founders and other key executives.
  • Resource Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, optimizing resources and implementing cost-control measures for maximum ROI.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Viterbit at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Ensure that both our clients and our internal team see Viterbit as a reliable, trustworthy, and highly capable organization

What You Will Bring To The Journey

  • Sales Leadership Experience: Experience leading B2B sales function through the Series Seed to Series B+ funding stages is required.
  • SaaS Industry Expertise: 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 3-4 years in high-growth SaaS industry with a mid market/enterprise focus
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience in hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
  • People Development: Exceptional skills in mentoring others on craft, process, and leadership. You build trust and inspire your team to excel.
  • Performance Insight: You have a clear understanding of performance evaluation, metrics, and reporting/budgeting procedures for your team.
  • Customer Focus: You are customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
