Kempower’s H1 2024 Financial Report: Weak second quarter for the year 2024 January-June 2024 in brief, IFRS (comparison figures in parenthesis January-June 2023) 🔹 Order intake decreased to EUR 99.0 million (EUR 147.7 million) 🔹 Revenue decreased by 22% to EUR 99.7 million (EUR 128.2 million) 🔹 Operative EBIT decreased to EUR -19.3 million (EUR 20.8 million), -19.3% of revenue (16.2%) 🔹 Loss for the period was EUR 16.6 million (EUR 16.7 million profit) 🔹Cash flow from operating activities was EUR -26.5 million (EUR 23.1 million) Tomi Ristimäki comments on the H1 2024: “The first half of the year 2024 was challenging, and we expect the slow market situation for the DC charging market to prevail until the beginning of next year. When looking at the long and mid-term, the electrification of transportation is just getting started. In the beginning of 2024, an average ratio between the number of existing DC charging points and registered EVs in Europe was 1:60, which indicates significant investment debt in DC charging infrastructure, as the desired ratio is 1:20." "Rapid actions towards greener transport are needed from governments and companies to reduce GHG emissions and to curb global warming. Welcome to the newest Kempower charging stations from all around the world! 🌍😍 🔋 Vattenfall 📍 Lysekil, Sweden Vattenfall InCharge is operating new chargers at Rosvikstorg southern harbor in Lysekil, Sweden. The chargers can charge both electric boats and EVs. Charging speed for cars is up to 200 kW and for boats 160 kW. Charge to 80% is possible in just 20-30 minutes. The hub offers 2 charging points for electric boats, as well as electric cars. 🔋 AVV Königsbrunn 📍Königsbrunn, Germany The public transportation office Augsburg (AVV Augsburger Verkehrsbetriebe) got 6 new charging points to charge up their fleet of electric buses in Königsbrunn. The Kempower chargers have different charging capacities, reaching from 150 KW to 600KW. 🔋 PETRONAS New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) 📍 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Gentari & EV Connection (JomCharge) deployed these Kempower chargers at one of the most popular spots in Kuala Lumpur, offering 3 charging points. Kempower powers Belgium’s first full-service EV fast-charging network 🇧🇪 Storm and Q8 will together launch Belgium's pioneering full-service EV fast-charging network. The partnership aims to establish up to 200 fast-charging stations at strategic locations in the next 5 years 🤩 "By delivering our reliable and user-friendly fast charging solutions to Storm and Q8, we are helping to shape a future where charging infrastructure is seamlessly connected to the everyday lives and needs of EV drivers." says Tommi Liuska, Chief Sales Officer at Kempower. The new fast-charging stations are integrated with shops and restaurants, and will redefine convenience and accessibility for EV users.
