MAIN GOALS - GENERAL ACTIVITIES - FIELD OF EXPERTISES

The Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (AMC) was founded in 1975 and is a training institution under the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction. AMC has its head office in Hanoi and additional training facilities in Da Nang, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City. Its mandate is to organize trainings, enable knowledge exchange, implement projects and do scientific research related to the academy’s core technical areas Urban Development and Construction. AMC has a national outreach to every city and their governments and one of AMC’s main functions is to train city leaders, cadres from departments of construction, urban planning and environment to apply policies within the management functions of the Ministry of Construction. Companies in the construction and urban infrastructure sectors are also among AMC's customers. Recently the academy also aims at extending its portfolio with services and topics related to smart cities, green growth, climate adaptation in urban areas as well as sustainable construction.
