Construcía is the pioneers of circular construction in Southern Europe, promoting the change from linear to circular models of construction which are sustainable, positive for the ecosystem and for people’s health.
Construcía S.L. is part of Construcía Corporation, a group of companies that offer circularity services, from strategic consulting to construction of circular buildings and infrastructures. Since 2002, Construcía has been working for the transition towards innovative, safe and circular business models within the construction sector. Using innovation as a tool for growth, we are developing and validating advanced building methodologies (Lean2Cradle), digital tools (building passport) and business models to revolutionise the construction sector and to improve our competitiveness globally.
ACTIVITY RELATED TO LOW GHG AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND RESILIENT BUILDINGS
A good example is the construction of The Gonsi Sócrates Bio-Building, a property of 6,200m² distributed in 4 floors and constructed with recyclable materials free of harmful substances. We have created a healthy and safe space for people, which will show positive results in the work environment, in worker's satisfaction and in productivity, fostering sustainability, aesthetics and feelings of comfort and belonging. The cyclability of its materials derives in high positive impacts in the environment and economy, since its materials and components will be recovered and re-used in the future, either being reprocessed and reincorporated into the production cycle, or either returning to nature.
