With the IBM Mainframe modernization lecture by the dynamic duo Joris Mertens and Frank van der Wal, this is very possible. The lecture on the new look of the IBM Z Mainframe taught us about how to use new technologies such as Ansible, VSCode, ZOAU and ZOWE in management and development for that hardware platform.
