I’m OOO today as my lovely wife is treating me to a spa day. My awesome team are available in my absence, but I wanted to provide some positive market insight, plus some changes we've recently made as a business.
This week, CCP have onboarded 3️⃣ new clients, with a total of 1️⃣8️⃣ exclusive jobs going live next week. We’ve also interviewed 2️⃣ people who want to join our team, plus caught up with a number of existing clients to discuss their recruitment plans for Q2. The signs are looking super positive.
Since January, we’ve been on a journey to better understand our candidates and our clients, so that we can identify ways in which we can better serve their needs with new processes and technology. In the past two months we've:
✅ Changed our phone system to Aircall (which is fantastic) and fully integrates into our ecosystem.
✅ Changed our CRM to JobAdder, which has a better UX and improved functionality over our previous CRM. This has provided us with automation (through basic AI), created significant efficiency improvements, and fully integrates into our new ecosystem. We're now able to work at our optimum, delivering our services faster, without sacrificing quality. This has created additional capacity to take on more work, and help more candidates source a role.
✅ Designed a new website, via Darren R., which goes live next week. The new site offers candidates an opportunity to be marketed via our Talent Pool, for free, so our clients have visibility of their profile, boosting their chances of securing work. It also has a new Insights page, sharing industry best practice, relevant news, as well as our case studies and testimonials. It also fully integrates with WhatsApp so that candidates can engage with our team with one click.
✅ Launched our Trustpilot page, which currently sits with an average score of 4.7 (before we’ve marketed it).
✅ Signed up with Allsorter so we can now format and template CV's with one click.
✅ Digitalised our Terms, via Cognito. For years we’ve been asking clients to print, scan, and sign our Terms. Not anymore! Our previous process was not only time consuming and impractical if clients were WFH, but also rubbish for the environment. Terms are now digital and e-Signed.
Some of these changes may seem relatively basic and trivial to you, but I never had the time to focus on these areas whilst actively recruiting, managing a team, a business, and a family.
If you thought we were good before, we're now even better thanks to these changes!
