Sustainability and innovation are at the centre of our operations. Our Verzuolo paper mill takes a proactive approach to waste management practices that support the circular economy. Through a process of recovering reject material from the collected recycled bales and developing new reuse streams, the mill has not only reimagined its operations but achieved a 29% reduction in waste.

We were pleased to announce our acquisition of the Verzuolo Paper Mill in October 2021. This plant, steeped in history and an integral part of the community since 1905, brings a highly experienced and skilled team to our company providing additional security of supply for our customers. It also brought us closer to the Verzuolo community.

Congratulations to five of our colleagues who took part in an historic event in France last week to achieve a new world record! The teams were led by sports legends including record-breaking runner Paula Radcliffe as they raced day and night, proving that team spirit and determination can push all limits. Our colleagues were delighted to be joined on their team by former French rugby international, Pierre Rabadan. In a tremendous show of endurance, they managed to run at an average speed of 16.4km per hour, covering 41 laps of the running track and 2km more than their target distance.
