Our Chairman, Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Arie Mizrachi, visited the Artillery Center in Thailand. During his visit, he delivered a lecture on artillery concepts and lessons learned from Operation Iron Swords. Arie Mizrahi, a former Chief of Artillery in the Israel Defense Forces, has a storied career. During the Yom Kippur War in 1973, he commanded a legendary artillery operation that halted the advance of hundreds of Syrian tanks into Israel at the Valley of Tears with a formidable concentration of firepower. Later, in the 1982 Lebanon War (Operation Peace for Galilee), he led crucial artillery operations as the Chief of Artillery, significantly contributing to the success of the IDF's missions. Throughout his career, he brought innovative artillery strategies to the forefront of military training. Background: The role will manage our Roundless Tactical Engagement System (RTES) contracts, based in the U.K., with international travel to support other European customers, as required. RTES, as part of CTTP (Collective Training Transformation Program), is a pathfinder project that will contribute to the shape of future dismounted simulation in the British Army. BAGIRA’s MAGNET is a TES, force-on-force, training system that allows soldiers to simulate engagements without the use of blank ammunition, body harnesses, or complex communications networks, and uses a customizable ExCon (Exercise Control) system to monitor and control exercises in real time. Ideal Candidate: - Background in the U.K. armed forces, preferably Combat Arms or Special Forces personnel, or similar experience. - Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex programs in-and-out of military environments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Willingness to travel internationally and engage with clients across Europe. - Familiarity with simulation and force on force defence training systems. - And a passion for innovation in military technology and training development. Responsibilities: - With our training and support, become an expert in the MAGNET system capabilities and it’s operation. - Oversee the development and continuation of deployment of our RTES contracts. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure continued program success. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through a willingness to support their needs. - Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, inline with our company values and standards. SPIKE User-Club Conference 2024, Belgium Bagira, in cooperation with Rafael, has showcased the Gorilla - Mobile Trainer for Point of Need. The Spike missile simulation integrates the operational MMC code (Missile Main Computer), missile 6 DOF aerodynamics, and all other missile algorithms. The Gorilla is connected to the operational Spike LR1 and LR2. The Spike simulation includes both VIS and LWIR video channels, which are used by the tracker as in real life, enabling switching between day and night channels while flying, just like the real missile LR2. Advanced tracking functions are utilized using both channels, all available based on a super realistic battlespace simulation. The Gorilla simulation console can run other applications such as JFT, Digital Sand Box, and infantry weapon simulator, all on the same Gorilla training console or by connecting several Gorillas for a joint exercise. The Gorilla training console is in operational use by the IDF for the Spike and other applications, and by the Royal NL Army for Joint-Fires training.
