GTE Experience | SHUCHITA JAIN A year of passion and progress! The flagship Octane Graduate Trainee Engineer (GTE) Program at Chetak Technology Ltd provides a holistic experience for engineering graduates to expand and explore domain areas that shape the future of mobility. Here's Shuchita from the 2023 intake, sharing her adventures: "Joining Chetak Technology Ltd, a leader in the electric two-wheeler industry, with cutting-edge technology and a commitment to a greener future has been an exciting journey. I joined as a PGTE in August 2023 after completing my Masters from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology. As part of the induction program, along with interactions with various BU heads, I had the opportunity to visit Chakan Plant 1. Spending a month in the plant observing the assembly process gave me invaluable insights into the meticulous craftsmanship and innovation that power our products. Witnessing vehicle assembly on such a large scale for the first time left me in awe of the streamlined process. After the plant stint, I was assigned to the In-House BMS Application Software team, responsible for designing the BMS software to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our electric two-wheelers through advanced technological solutions. With the help of my incredibly supportive team members, who have patiently guided and explained the intricacies of BMS, I have gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both the design and testing aspects of the Battery Management System. Attending the UpSwing workshop for female GTEs was another wonderful experience. We gained valuable insights into our strengths and weaknesses, learning how to become the best versions of ourselves. A memory that I will always cherish is being awarded the Model Woman Award on International Women's Day. It was a pleasant surprise and a great honor. Beyond work, staying at the Bajaj Campus has been really fun. Attending dance classes at Utsah, playing badminton at the courts, participating in various activities like the badminton tournament organized as a team bonding event, celebrating Christmas with everyone, and organizing Secret Santa with the team have all added to the amazing experience of working at CTL. Over the past year, I have met many talented people and made great friends who have made the transition from college to corporate life very smooth. Overall, this past year at Chetak Technology Ltd has been filled with knowledge, fun, laughter, and memories I will cherish forever. #Chetak #HamaraKal

This momentous occasion not only marked the introduction of an innovative vehicle but also celebrated the achievement of reaching a remarkable milestone of 20,000 sales of Chetak in Nagpur - Vidharbha. Here's Anurag from the 2023 intake, sharing his adventures: "I completed my MS-Research from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and received a Day 0 offer from Chetak Technology Ltd. Being a passionate biker, Bajaj Auto is where my "Passion became my Profession." I joined as a PGTE-R&D with no prior corporate experience. The HR team had planned a wonderful two-month induction program, which helped us get to know the organization. As part of the induction, we had a lecture series, a campus-to-corporate program, team bonding activities, and a plant stint. The Plant Stint – It was undoubtedly the best part of our induction, as we got to experience life at our Chakan 1 and Chakan 2 plants. I was allotted to the Chakan 2 plant, where I got to see the production of KTM RC 390, 390 Adventure, Duke 250, and more. At the same time, the plant was preparing for the production of Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X, and oh boy, what an experience it was! I couldn’t resist taking test rides of these machines. After the stint, I was allotted to the EV Electronics department. Here, under the leadership of our VP, Madhukar, and my managers, Chandrashekhar and Ashish, we are working on the latest technologies to make our EVs future-proof. The last year at CTL primarily consisted of my GTE period, with the GTE hostel at the center of it, aptly tagged “Home Away from Home.” All my colleagues who joined as strangers stayed and enjoyed together like brothers, from late-night birthday parties to weekend rides and thrilling treks. UTSAH – As the name suggests, it filled us with enthusiasm. From playing badminton to relieve stress to enjoying a game of pool after dinner, it truly is a recreational center one would dream of. The lush green campus, colleagues -like friends, and hostel-like home makes me feel like I’m still in college." #Chetak #HamaraKal
