The #DreamSportsChampionship was a huge success putting the spotlight on the emerging stars of football. The tournament spanned 6 cities, culminating in a thrilling National Finals in Mumbai. Out of 37 Youth teams from AIFF-accredited clubs and academies, #PunjabFC stood out, edging #EastBengalFC 1-0 in the Final. This championship, is a first of many more to come with the mission of providing high quality match practice and a platform for early talent identification. The recently concluded Dream Sports Championship was a tremendous success, providing a platform for budding footballers to gain recognition. The tournament, which featured 6 Regional Rounds in Mumbai, Kolkata, Shillong, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Goa, culminated in the week long National Finals in Mumbai. A total of 37 Youth teams (U-17) from AIFF-accredited clubs and academies participated in this edition. Punjab FC emerged victorious in the Final, defeating East Bengal FC 1-0. The tournament was streamed live on FanCode. Across the 60 matches played, there were 36 clean sheets and 216 goals scored. Dream Sports Championship, along with our existing training and mentorship programs are aimed at enhancing early talent identification and providing structured interventions. We are grateful for All India Football Federation's support and look forward to the Dream Sports Championship becoming a springboard for future national champions.
