🌟✨ Adventure in Barcelona: an experience with Krones✨🌟 As part of their training, some of our 2nd year trainees spent three weeks abroad in the breathtaking city of Barcelona. From the start, they were warmly welcomed by their Spanish team members in the local Krones office and were able to gain an insight into their areas of work and daily tasks. This experience not only helped them professionally, but also enriched them culturally. Of course, there was plenty of fun too! Whether relaxing on the beach at sunset, exploring the historic and modern sights or enjoying the breathtaking views from the Bunker de Carmel, Barcelona had a lot to offer. 👉Want to experience something new? Discover the biggest solar park in the Krones world in Debrecen, Hungary. 🌎 The solar park next to the factory building covers around 𝟲.𝟮𝟬𝟬 square meters with more than 𝟮.𝟲𝟬𝟬 solar panels. Krones to continue profitable growth – medium-term targets set for 2028 • Krones yesterday held a Capital Market Day for analysts and investors • The Executive Board explained the company’s strategy and presented its medium-term targets • Consolidated revenue is set to increase to €7 billion by 2028 (2023: €4.7 billion). The medium-term target for the EBITDA margin is between 11% and 13% (2023: 9.7%). Krones is aiming for ROCE of more than 20% by 2028 (2023: 16.3%). From today it is time! Tethered caps are now mandatory in the EU. ⚠️ But don't worry, thanks to the new Krones cap inspection system, even tethered caps can be easily checked for correct fit. Krones Recycling is spun off as an independent subsidiary company The demand for recycled plastics is increasing rapidly worldwide: consumer awareness is growing, companies are setting themselves ever more ambitious sustainability targets and recycling requirements from international governments are also increasing. As a company with almost 30 years of experience in plastics processing and almost 25 years in the field of recycling, Krones has now taken the pioneering decision to pool its recycling expertise in the independent subsidiary Krones Recycling GmbH from July 2024. From workbench to schoolbench! Krones offers an in-house retraining programme enabling its employees to embark on an apprenticeship as an industrial electrician. Starting from scratch all over again. Leaning something new. The requirements are a completed apprenticeship – a recognised foreign vocational qualification will also be accepted, by the way – as well as an eagerness to learn and a desire to try something new.
