Your Role

We're seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Business Development to join our management team. As we gear up to introduce our groundbreaking technology, The Aurora, to the market, we need someone adept at navigating the complexities of healthcare commercialization.

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of our commercialization efforts, skillfully guiding us through the intricacies of the healthcare industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing the complete Go-to-Market strategy for The Aurora's launch.

Your Activities And Responsibilities Include

  • Craft Market Entry Strategies: Develop and execute innovative strategies to ensure the successful introduction of the Aurora into new markets, leveraging your strategic acumen and market insights.
  • Foster Network Development and Management: Cultivate and nurture robust networks with key stakeholders, fostering mutually beneficial relationships to enhance our market presence and expand our reach.
  • Lead Brand Awareness Development: Spearhead initiatives to elevate the visibility and recognition of the Aurora brand, employing creative strategies to engage and captivate target audiences.
  • Navigate Reimbursement Landscapes: Skillfully navigate complex reimbursement landscapes, ensuring that the Aurora is positioned optimally for accessibility and affordability.
  • Develop Technical Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of the Aurora's technical aspects, enabling you to effectively communicate its benefits to diverse audiences.
  • Promote Collaborative Leadership: Lead by example in fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork, harnessing collective strengths to achieve our shared goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate Distributor and Sales Relations: Build strong partnerships with distributors and sales channels, empowering them with the resources and support necessary for mutual growth and success.
  • Stay Informed with Market Knowledge: Keep abreast of market trends, dynamics, and regulatory changes, providing invaluable insights to guide strategic decision-making and maintain our competitive edge.

Your Profile

  • Proven Experience: Have you successfully launched medical devices before? We're seeking someone with a track record in bringing new products to market, preferably in healthcare distribution and Audiology.
  • Startup Savvy: Are you energized by the dynamic world of Healthtech startups? We need someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts seamlessly to changing landscapes.
  • Technical Know-How: Can you bridge the gap between technical intricacies and external communication? We're seeking someone who can articulate our product's complexities while fostering a strong relationship with our R&D team.
  • Reimbursement Expertise: Do you understand the ins and outs of healthcare reimbursement processes? Your expertise in this area will be invaluable as we navigate industry complexities.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Are you a natural leader with exceptional collaboration and communication skills? We're in search of someone who can confidently lead, collaborate across teams, and navigate complex healthcare environments with finesse.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Marketing, Communication, and/or Business.
  • Preferred knowledge in a discipline related to Audiology, Ophthalmology, Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Some remote work is possible, but physical presence at the Company office in Ede, Netherlands, is preferred at least once a week.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in a similar role at a startup.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in both English and Dutch languages is required.
