Our client is a rapidly growing semiconductor company that develops ultra-efficient neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge. These microprocessors mimic the brain’s mechanisms for processing fast data streams from sensors, enabling complex turn-key sensor analytics functionalities, with 10,000x higher performance per watt than competing solutions. This technology serves as a critical enabler for next-generation use-cases in the IoT, wearable, embedded, and automotive domains.


In this role you will be responsible for spearheading growth initiatives and driving strategic partnerships. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership, driving market expansion and establishing the company as a key player in the industry.



Responsibilities

  • Partnering closely with the management team to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, fostering meaningful customer engagements.
  • Leading the entire sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to securing major design wins with key clients.
  • Conducting thorough research to pinpoint strategic technology partners, evaluating potential collaborative opportunities.
  • Crafting bespoke client presentations utilizing a mix of existing and innovative sales and marketing materials.
  • Mastering the competitive advantages and leveraging them to identify and pursue lucrative business prospects.
  • Championing the voice of the customer, gathering invaluable insights to shape the product roadmap and strategic direction.
  • Together with the Head of product strategy, tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of specific market segments, driving requirements gathering and roadmap planning.
  • Delivering comprehensive, data-driven business reviews to stakeholders and maintain an up-to-date CRM system.
  • Driving marketing communications to build the brand, and evangelize the Spiking Neural Processor technology.
  • Serving as the face of the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry gatherings, effectively representing our brand and vision.



Profile

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical business development and/or new business sales within the semiconductor industry.
  • Exceptional technical and business acumen, with a genuine passion for cutting-edge technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating all stages of the commercial lifecycle, from market exploration to final deal closure.
  • Prior experience thriving in startup environments, driving growth initiatives in evolving markets.
  • Strong grasp of embedded electronics, semiconductor processor IP, and the intricacies of product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate evolving customer needs into actionable sales strategies, particularly in emerging technology sectors.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience fostering trust and credibility with clients; familiarity with AI/ML and computer architectures is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.
