    Amouage presents the Wadi Dawkah Omani Frankincense Essential Oil as part of Harrods Fragrance Week in London The Wadi Dawkah Omani #Frankincense Essential Oil was exclusively revealed to industry professionals attending the World Perfumery Congress held in Geneva back in June 2024. Now, the House unveiled the natural ingredient to a broader audience as part of Harrods’ fragrance week for members of the press and key partners, offering a rare experience usually exclusive to perfume professionals, with a masterclass hosted by Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer. The audience was exposed to the Essential Oil in its purest form before it will be used by perfumers. The essential oil has a unique olfactory profile that intends to inspire contemporary creations in fine perfumery, blending tradition and innovation and building bridges between heritage and posterity. The collaboration in synchronicity between dsm-firmenich and AMOUAGE aims to make the Wadi Dawkah Omani Frankincense Essential Oil available in Amouage creations while it also holds the promise of broader availability to other fine perfumery houses that share the House’s values of excellence and #authenticity.     Chief Creative Officer at AMOUAGE

    A week at the AMOUAGE Manufacture in pictures: - We finalized new print techniques (gold foiling, printing on top of the foiling and foiling again on top of everything) to create depth and texture for gifts. - A new batch of the Jubilation 40 Extrait finished ageing and we were able to assemble some bottles. This is a fragrance that only gets better with age, 14 months old samples have less of the camphoraceous aspect and the honey and blackberry notes are shining. - We are now several months into the process of infusing solid natural ingredients into perfume concentrates. A first. It requires the teams to create tools that don’t exist in perfumery. A mix of common sense and creative craft, to separate oil from sandalwood chips.

Grateful for this recognition for a fragrance that has become an icon in the making and truly embodies what Amouage proudly stands for: - Craft, craft, craft: each Guidance Eau de Parfum product is carefully crafted, one by one, by hand in our Manufacture in Muscat, Oman. A bottle contains 25% of pure perfume oils and has been aged for a total of 4 weeks (3 weeks of maturation plus 1 week of maceration). - Contemporary creativity and art direction: from the pure olfactive vision of Quentin Bisch (Givaudan) to the elevated material and visual aesthetics of louise mertens. - Transparency: all of this can be witnessed by anyone in real time: the doors of our Manufacture are open to the public 5 days a week (we stop and smell the roses the other 2). No appointment needed (yet). If travel is not an option, our social media platforms, website and perfume experts around the world will share the stories, inspirations and facts.     The House of Amouage inaugurates its first flagship boutique in the United States    The House of AMOUAGE officially opened its first flagship within The Avenue in American Dream. The grand event was hosted by Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer, who unveiled the stunning interior and the sensory mysteries of the space, inviting revered media, opinion leaders and cherished partners to discover the High Perfumery of Amouage.    As much a contemporary art destination as a boutique, the flagship store is an artistic depiction of a sunset in #Oman against layers of rugged mountain peaks. The space is a refined modern patchwork blending organically the finest materials – travertine, black marble, brass, dark oak, clay – with monolithic custom pieces and a breathtaking boutique-long screen. The boutique marks the first touchpoint in the Americas for #Amouage and serve as an ode to the Sultanate of Oman.    Amouage is located in The Avenue on Level 1.     Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer of Amouage discussed about the shift of consideration of usages and the desire for transparency and instantaneity at The Business of Beauty Global Forum The House of AMOUAGE was honoured to take part at this year’s The Business of Beauty Global Forum, where Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer took part in a panel discussion titled Inside the Industry, High and Low: The Booming #Fragrance Opportunity.
