My two cents on NYC? A crazy place with a crazy pace. Firstly, a huge honor of getting a meeting slot with Yann LeCun at his office in New York University. Let’s just say this was a far flung shot, but it was all about sending him those emails. From the first Convolutional Neural Network for Hand Digit Recognition to open-sourcing LLMs and now working on GWMs; he truly stands as the GodFather of AI. What made him special throughout the conversation was his decades-long acumen & soul attachment to AI and his stance that everyone needed AI; at every economic level. Secondly, a solid Community Mixer at Impact Hub Network with the Shapers attending the Climate Reality Training. Thank you Saisha Srivastava & the Global Shapers New York for organizing this, and to Muhammad Hassan Dajana for letting me know :D As for VECTOR Inc., the work never stops! I’ve had my fair share of work on my temporary work desk looking over the 57th Street & Lexington Avenue, and I must say that the running city out there gets you going, with work and with readings at an incredible pace.

"Leadership is no more an age preserve" We had an exciting discussion on the emerging 21st Century theory that the youth brings in the right vision, naiveness, and energy to achieve the impossible. Our speaker, Mr. Kamran Zishan Rizvi, made sure to impact the audience's take on leadership as a whole; giving them the right direction to not limit their free flowing mind, and letting their inner learner take over. When the leaders of tomorrow meet today; it results in progress, energy and vision! Happy to share VECTOR's presence at IMPACT-istan '24 by MLSA FAST NUCES Islamabad. The Chief Strategy Officer, Aman Shah was invited to share the panel on Startups Success (something we are still trying to figure out) along with Zain ul Abedien, CPO @ Vyro, and Soban Raza, CEO @ Antematter. Proudly put, UrduX, a newly launched research lab at FAST NUCES Islamabad was demonstrated by Dr. Mehreen Alam. The lab is actively contributing towards developing real-world use cases for the Urdu language; such as LegalBot, Urdu Siri, Urdu ChatBots and many more. A big thanks to the organizers, Hasan Naseer & Harras Mansoor for having us at our own institution. The entire VECTOR team looks forward to contributing further in nurturing the agile mindset in the community.

A perfect NaSCon '24 weekend for VECTOR! We had an exciting run through with our presence in 6 events back at the same place where we started VECTOR. Here's a sneak peak of results from team VECTOR's outing: - vFit bagged first position at Entrepreneural Venture (Team: Khadija I., Noor Khan). - vFit bagged first position at Pitch Perfect (Team: Aman Shah, Maaz Ali Nadeem). - Our Creative Director, Fateh Aayan, bagged first position in Mobile Photography - Our Systems Engineer, Khadija I., and Maaz Ali Nadeem bagged first position at Pixelaite (Generative AI Competition) We were also honored to set the problem statement for the Data Visualization Competition and demonstrate vFit at Pixelaite. Finally the big shoutout to our team that contributed to exhibiting our project, and our vision throughout the weekend: Aamish Rafique, Saleh Ahmad, Shehryar Sohail, Abdulwadood Waseem, Sabah Nawab, Zarmeen Tauseef and Amna Usman.
