Operations Specialist:
Designer, Facilitator, Coach, and Consultant

About SchoolOps

The SchoolOps team is committed to ensuring that every school and organization in the education world has access to high quality professional learning and support for its operations teams. SchoolOps has worked across multiple states to bring together communities of operations learners and provide them with national best practices, a resource library of tools and templates, and guided discussions to solve problems together. We believe that excellent operations are a core driver of student success, and that investing in operations teams builds strong foundations for sustainable schools.

The Role

SchoolOps is looking to engage with many people who have a wide range of experiences and expertise so that we can staff every project with exactly the right person. Our team is currently executing and pursuing projects with organizations at all levels of the charter and traditional school world – individual schools, small and large CMOs, districts, regional support organizations, and state education agencies. In this role, you will work closely with these partners as a content designer, facilitator, coach, or consultant to provide SchoolOps operations training and supports. Applicants may specify that they are prepared for any combination of the four responsibilities: designing, coaching, consulting, and facilitating, which are described in more detail below. Preference will be given to applicants who are qualified to provide multiple services. This is a contracted 1099 role to be staffed on individual projects – being approved for contract work with SchoolOps does not guarantee the availability of a project. The role is not full time and does not provide benefits.

This is a remote role with some travel required. Some preference will be given to applicants in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada.
