Sharing my thoughts on the new plastic caps in Resumé.

Thoughts on being creative at Almedalen. The week at Almedalen has come to an end, and I feel both energized and drained of energy at the same time. I’m going to focus on what energized me though, as we need all the positive forces we can find in this political landscape. I am a brand builder. Meaning I consult our clients on how to build and strengthen their brands. First thing one thinks of in that regard might be to make the brand more visible. To pop more. Using all the tricks in the book to get the consumers attention and make them consume the services and products they offer. Ultimately: to sell more and increase revenue. Luckily, as that ambition alone would consume me from the inside, brands today have to play a different game. They need to shift from being part of the problem to instead becoming part of the solution. Not only because it’s the right thing to do but because it is the smarter and more long term brand strategy, that will make one survive and maybe even thrive as a brand. That is why I as a brand consultant and creative director enter every creative task that’s given to me, whether it’s within food or tech, with one clear ambition: how can we help this brand to create more value to people and to the world? How can we help this brand shift towards becoming more part of the solution. Sometimes in big leaps, often in small nudges. That is also why it is so inspiring and important to participate at the political festival in Almedalen. As designers we need to zoom out from the pixels sometimes and understand where the world SHOULD be going so that we can help steer towards that future. One pixel at a time. We are ultimately the ones holding the colorful pens that shape the future and that comes not only with huge responsibilities but with amazing possibilities. With that said, I hope to see more creatives there next year that also strive to be part of the solution. XOXO

This year’s Almedalen has come to an end and we can look back at a week of fascinating conversations and exciting interactions, deepening our understanding of AI and the potential it brings. We are very proud of being part of this important journey together with the talented people at Google, and want to send a special thank you to Nicole Espelund, Maja Brännvall and Martha Ivester. Thank you for your trust. It’s been a great challenge and a whole lot of fun! The possibilities of AI can sometimes seem hard to grasp. In Almedalen this year we've worked closely with Google to shape an experience design that will engage people to appreciate the emerging opportunities of AI technology. The spacial design concept is carefully crafted to spark spontaneous peer-to-peer conversation and for hosting larger in plenum keynotes and panel talks. By fusing playful analog demos with bespoke digital interactions, we want to shape an engaging, social and intuitive learning experience. Here's a few snaps from the first couple of days.
