We are thrilled to announce that Hydrogen Ukraine has signed an agreement with the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (NTUU "KPI"). Starting this September, students from NTUU "KPI" will embark on an #internship program with our company. 📢 Hydrogen Ukraine Begins Site Preparation for Hydrogen Plant in Odesa Region The Hydrogen Ukraine team has arrived on-site at the future #HydrogenPlant location in the Odesa region. The team is now commencing crucial survey works to prepare the land for construction 🏗️. The new plant is expected to play a key role in the country's #GreenEnergy strategy 🌱, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions 🌿 and the promotion of #CleanEnergy 🌞. The survey works will ensure the site's suitability and help in the precise planning and construction of the #hydrogen infrastructure 🔧 🗨 "We're thrilled to be on the ground in Odesa region, laying the groundwork for this innovative project," said Iaroslav Kryl, CEO of Hydrogen Ukraine. Hydrogen Ukraine has signed an agreement with the Scientific and Technical Center of Electric Power "Ukrsilenergoproekt" to develop a #FeasibilityStudy for the construction of a 240 MW solar power plant (SPP) ☀ and a 160 MW wind farm 🌬 in the Odesa region. Critically, the study will place a strong emphasis on integrating the generated renewable energy directly into the project's #hydrogen production process. Moreover, we will explore various options for supplying the generated clean #electricity 🔋 🌱 . These options include: 🔌 Feeding power directly into the grid of Ukraine's integrated power system. 🔌 Supplying electricity to the power grid of Moldova. 🔌 Connecting to the ENTSO-E-Romania grid. The use of #RenewableEnergy sources, such as #solar and #wind power, is crucial for producing #GreenHydrogen, which is hydrogen generated through #electrolysis powered by renewable energy. Unlike traditional hydrogen production methods that rely on fossil fuels, green hydrogen is produced without emitting greenhouse gases, making it a key player in the global shift towards #SustainableEnergy. Ukraine holds substantial potential in renewable energy, particularly in the wind and solar sectors. The country's vast plains and favourable weather conditions make it an ideal location for large-scale renewable energy #projects.
