Due to our continued expansion, we are hiring and have three exciting vacancies available based in the Greater Glasgow area. We are keen to hear from ambitious applicants for the following roles – ·        Senior Electrical Design Engineer Responsible for the daily tasks and deliverables associated with designing and developing grid-scale battery energy storage and solar PV projects. The suitable applicant requires a minimum of eight years related work experience with mechanical & electrical balance of plant design capability, CAD software experience and electrical system modelling ability. Knowledge of UK Grid Code / compliance and applicable design standards / regulations is essential. ·        ICP Balance of Plant Senior Electrical Estimator Experience in battery energy storage and solar PV sub-stations, from 33KV to 400KV, required alongside a significant understanding of civil and ground works. Working closely with the Bid Team, responsibilities will include assessing bid opportunities, evaluating project risks and determining project cost estimates. ·        Senior Bid Manager With a strong electrical engineering and project management background, desired experience includes working within both distribution and transmission connected solar PV and battery energy storage projects. Responsible for the company’s prequalification and tender submissions, including required research and managing the preparation and delivery of proposals and presentations. Did you know the UK is one of the best locations for wind power in the world! In 2022 the UK set three new records for wind generation. In May the National Grid had to shut down some turbines in the west of Scotland as storage could not handle the large amount of electricity.
