🚨 Protecting Integrity in Lighting Design We continue to take a stand against counterfeit products, alongside other manufactures, that threaten the quality and safety of lighting control products worldwide. In the latest issue of TPi Magazine, Paul Wong, Avolites Managing Director, discusses the extensive damage caused by counterfeit products and the combined efforts to combat this ongoing issue. "In Europe and North America there has been a wide amount of support from users that will call out counterfeits. However, in Asia and South America, we often see the greater issue of fake products. The goal is to change the perception of counterfeiting, but it will take some time to turn that ship around." - Paul Wong "This ambitious mission will only be achieved if everyone within the industry works together. Join us from August 20 till 23, 2024, at our Dubai training center to earn your Avolites-approved certification and become an accredited programmer. This course consists of 2-days foundation level and 2-days mastery level. This comprehensive 4-day course covers everything you need to know to build a show file from scratch on the Titan range of consoles. From patching fixtures to recording playbacks, palettes, and some of the effects engines that are built into Titan. You’ll master cue lists, essential for various events, from corporate to theater. It covers advanced programming options and set ups already available within Titan, networking, ways to speed and aid programming, external triggering, and working with timecode. Paul explains how he designed the show, what tech he chose, and why he likes using the Avolites Titan Mobile with two wings and a T2 to increase the DMX ports to 6, as well as using Ai to run the video content and Synergy feature set playing the video intensity and colour across the fixtures. Paul set up midi triggers for Tourist to fire when he wanted, to create a look that perfectly synced with the music.
