Samaritans’ Awareness Day is held every year on 24th July – 24/7, to emphasise that Samaritans are here to listen 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because anyone could need someone to talk to at any time.   24-hour emotional support is crucial for people working in the print industry, as many businesses run 24/7 shifts. The Printing Charity’s free, confidential helpline is available to provide that support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Blackmore Limited is delighted to announce that two of our apprentices have successfully passed their apprenticeship scheme with merit. 👏 Mateusz Sapko, who also won the ‘BPIF Apprentice of the Year’ award in November 2023, started as an Apprentice Pre-Press/ Digital Operator. Bailey Medlen came on board as an Apprentice Bindery Operator. Since completing their apprenticeships, they are continuing to work at Blackmore as Pre-Press/ Digital Operator and Bindery Operator respectively. Congratulations Mat and Bailey – you have both worked very hard to complete your apprenticeships and are an integral part of our team! We at Blackmore Limited were delighted for our MD, Andrew Robbins, to be invited to take part in the Eastman Kodak Company panel discussion at drupa – no. 1 for printing technologies, one of the biggest print industry events. The topic was on digital and offset print (not digital vs offset!).
