About us
We’re one of the largest water retailers in the UK, known for our passionate approach to customer service and exceptional knowledge of the water industry. We’re trusted by over 300,000 business customers to provide water and waste water services including billing, water efficiency support and water and waste water management solutions. Our aim is to help customers use water wisely, to save them money and help protect the environment. Since 2008, our customers have benefited from over £335million through efficiency savings and discounts and we’ve helped to reduce our customers’ water consumption by over 57 billion litres - the equivalent of nearly 23,000 Olympic sized swimming pools. In 2019 we launched our vision to make a positive difference to our customers, our people, the environment and our local communities. Since then, we’ve introduced over 30 new initiatives to help bring our vision to life. This has included reducing our carbon footprint by 50% over a 12-month period, sponsoring and planting 10,000 new trees in Scotland, partnering with Career Ready to provide mentoring and work experience placements to high school students and introducing a raft of health and well-being activities to support our colleagues.

Last week, our 2024 Career Ready students delivered their final presentations to our team and to Career Ready’s Edinburgh Regional Manager Rose K., as they reached the end of their four-week work placement. We’ve loved having the students at our offices, and being able to provide opportunities to build their confidence, skills and knowledge base with expert-led skills sessions, project work, CV and personal statement support and 121 networking. Congratulations to all of this year’s students. We can’t wait to see what you go on to next! And we’re already looking forward to working with Rose and Career Ready again next year.
