🎉 BIG NEWS! We’re excited to announce that we’re developing an online community for career returners worldwide to supercharge our mission, set to launch later this year! 🌐 Using the power of tech, our goal is to create a vibrant space where returners can connect, share, engage, learn and get support. We’ll personalise and amplify the free support and connection we provide to our Career Returners Professional Network (currently 9,400 members), expand our network community into new regions and extend and strengthen employer engagement. We know from our Career Returners Indicator 2024 that 90% of our network have suffered a hit to their confidence. Feelings of isolation and uncertainty about what to do next are common. Our free-to-join online community platform will lower these barriers: 🤝 Together we will bring together local and global sub-groups to create confidence-boosting relationships with like-minded returners, building motivating return-to-work support groups. 🤝 We will provide tailored advice, resources and expert insights to support along the return-to-work journey. We will facilitate live events, forums, webinars and discussions. Our online community platform will also benefit our current and future employer partners who are welcoming and inclusive of returners: 🤝 We will boost engagement with employers to better highlight their culture, values and opportunities for returners, so opening new employment doors, multiplying the number and range of opportunities we offer to returners. This is a major investment for a social impact business, but we’re confident that it will enable us to rapidly scale our impact and fuel change: 🌿Changing Individual Lives: getting many thousands more returners back into fulfilling jobs 🌿Changing Organisations: developing more returner-inclusive employers and breaking down recruitment bias 🌿Changing Society: making career breaks a valued part of a lifetime career and removing the Career Break Penalty As we develop this online community, we will be getting input from our returner network to shape a community that best meets their needs, so we can build something amazing together. Look out for more news as we get closer to launch over the coming months! #OnlineCommunity #CommunitySupport #careerreturners #returntowork #womenreturners #techforgood #EndTheCareerBreakPenalty
