We have some exciting news to share with you!   To deliver continuous customer and colleague service excellence, CIS is expanding its leadership team.   Our esteemed Account Director Paul Brady GCGI, MSyl has been promoted to the position of Operations Director at CIS Security Limited.   Paul will work alongside our existing Operations Directors, Tony Graves and Calvin Pillay. He will oversee critical aspects of our operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, process optimisation, colleague well-being, and progression while providing continued service excellence.     Neill Catton stated,   “Paul is an integral part of our team, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and dedication. His high standards, experience, and deep understanding of our customers’ needs and industry trends position him perfectly for this role.   Our Business Strategy is to focus on quality above all else. This appointment starts a year-long investment plan focused on intensifying our services to customers and colleagues. Paul has a rich pedigree in account management, from high-end portfolio management to iconic tall buildings, and will provide even further depth to the business. We are thrilled to provide Here East with Security Services for another year! Here East is a multi-award winning innovation campus in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London. Initially built for the London 2012 Olympics, it has become a bustling centre for startups, global companies, and academic institutions. The campus offers studio spaces, offices, and workshops to foster collaboration and innovation. We are thrilled to have been awarded a contract extension until 2025. Providing security services since August 2021, we have worked closely with the Here East team, delivering on our promise to fully align with their vision and values. The security team consistently enhances the customer experience through passion, determination and collaboration. Head of Security & Front of House, Leighton Jones, said, “I am happy to confirm the extension of our contract with CIS Security as Here East’s Security Service provider until the end of 2025. It’s a testament to their invaluable collaboration and support as our partnership has evolved. The majority of litter found in the River Thames is made of plastic, which can harm wildlife and the surrounding environment. To support the efforts to reduce litter found near the river, Francois Reynders, Jordy Mukudi, and John Sephton FSyI joined MidCity colleagues and Recorra to litter pick at Gabriel’s Wharf, London. Although it rained, spirits remained high as the team worked to create a safer and more pleasant environment, whilst raising awareness of the amount of litter we produce. #CIS #Safety #Midcity #Recycle #ESG #singleuseplastics

It was a great pleasure to host the Q2 Paternoster Square Estate Security Forum this morning. The forum keeps progressing from strength to strength and as an estate, we are very grateful towards our forum members. Thank you for your continued support. I would like to thank our guest speaker Adrianne Carter. Adrianne is a UK leading Facial Action Coding System coder = body language specialist, trained Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Natural Success Psychology Coach. Her presentation "The Power of People" was fantastic to say the least. It covered how mastering non-verbal cues can triple your communication skills, making you more persuasive, empathetic, and effective in every interaction. Enhancing abilities to read others' emotions and intentions, boosting confidence and influence in both personal and professional settings. I would also like to thank PC Matthew Clapham from the City of London Police for his local crime update. Regent's Place Takes Action Against Local Crime The police and security industry continue to encourage the deployment of SelectaDNA Tagging Sprays. CIS Security Limited Security at Regent’s Place has now been trained in their use, and they are carried as part of the standard officer equipment.   Head of Security John Reynolds MSyI said, “These kits can be used by our security team to mark potential offenders to deter and prevent attacks and criminal behaviour. Our robust security regime already ensures that our campus has low crime levels. However, the surrounding areas, particularly arterial roads, have seen a number of cycle-enabled mobile phone thefts". The message is clear to criminals - do not commit offences on or near Regent’s Place. The SelectaDNA Tagging & Defence Sprays are compact offender marking sprays. The solution is easily identifiable under UV light and irrefutably links criminals with crimes using unique synthetic DNA. The spray is not harmful, is water-based, and has unique DNA coding.    We want to deter offending and help catch those who commit serious crimes. The tagging sprays will enhance our service to our customers, occupiers, residents, and visitors. Armed Forces Day, 29th June 2024   The sun was shining, people's spirits were high, and the CIS Security Team was proud to represent the company in aid of SSAFA the Armed Forces charity.   The CIS Wanderers set off at 11:30, taking in the wonders of London while walking over each bridge in turn, from Tower Bridge to Battersea Bridge.
