We are Demelza. Today, we unveiled our new branding as part of our strategic ambition and commitment to reaching more children and families who need us. This evening, we are delighted to share our brand film, narrated by actor and long-term supporter Daniel Radcliffe, which depicts the extraordinary care that Demelza strives to provide for extraordinary children - every minute of every day, every single night, every day of the year – to a backdrop of ‘Every Breath You Take’, performed by Kent singer-songwriter Katie Kittermaster. Daniel, who is a Demelza Vice President, said: “Demelza is a charity very close to my heart, having been a supporter for many years now. Their work is crucial; they’re here to make sure that children and their families make the most of every single moment - from first diagnosis, for as long as needed. In June, our Family Support Team took five Demelza siblings on a first-time residential trip to the Young Carer’s Festival in Southampton!🧑🤝🧑 The weekend was jam packed with activities including live music, outdoor cinema, fairground rides, paddle boarding, zip lining and camping.⛺ The festival gave them the chance to socialise with others who have caring responsibilities at home with one sibling sharing: “The weekend was great. It was so nice to do other activities with people that I could relate with and speak to.
