Congratulations to our Assistant Site Manager Charlotte Hassan, shortlisted as: 🎊 Apprentice of the Year 🎊 Charlotte is shortlisted alongside 5 others in the National Building & Construction Awards for her apprenticeship at EHA which led onto her current role. A fantastic achievement to be a finalist, competing against other apprentices in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. Charlotte's award entry was largely focused upon her contribution to recently completed 'Park Avenue' in Belfast. Here Charlotte excelled as she attended both days at university and days on site, helping to manage a £16m project. Wow we are over the moon at the amazing donations received so far for our Hard As Oak Challenge last month. Thank-you very much to everyone who has donated. The team completed the muddy trek in memory of John Paul Allingham raising funds for Foyle Hospice, a cause close to everyone's hearts. The hospice is dependent on grants and fundraising for 70% of their annual running costs. 👷🏼♀️ Project Update: The Orchard, Kedington, South England EHA is progressing well at a new exclusive private housing scheme in South England. The Orchard is a tranquil site located off Mill Road, Kedington, Haverhill, West Suffolk. The modern housing scheme is a mixture of 40 detached and semi-detached homes ranging from 1100 to 1500sq ft. The new homes are a real country-side retreat, within the village of Kedington. Thank-you to the team at RPP Architects Ltd for these fantastic completion pictures of Park Avenue, Belfast. EHA along with the wider project team, handed over the completed ‘Park Avenue’ in January of this year (2024). A scheme for Choice Housing Ireland Ltd that addresses the demand for affordable homes in East Belfast, whilst standing as a project that ultimately enhanced the surrounding area. The images highlight how well the site integrates with the existing environment, partially due to the retention of the mature deciduous boundary at the site. Furthermore, the clever use of materials and detailing makes the site blend into its city environment. Due to this, the scheme has been well received in the locality. 🏡 Some images from our recently completed project Park Avenue, Belfast. The project began on site in April 2022 and completed ahead of schedule this January, with a total of 90 new homes delivered. The units are a mixed tenure residential development, with 63 of these for social housing use and the other 27 units for private rent. The project features enhanced finishes with landscaping promoting a pride in the development. This has greatly enhanced the local area and includes communal gardens, car parking and a tenant and staff hub. While the site location is also most desirable with top quality transport and local amenities at the residents' doorstep.
